I stumbled on a link to this blog on a chondro forum. It's about a keeper's ball python collection getting wiped out by something called a rhabdovirus, which is a family of viruses that includes several genera including Lyssavirus, to which rabies belongs.

Turns out there is a vaccine, but this lady lost many of her snakes before she could halt the disease's progress.

Yes, Buck. I thought I referred to this some time ago. It was closely followed by several of us as events unfolded and she attempted to find a cause for the deaths. Shocked

I am happy that she finally found the origin of the illness.

That was on another forum. I remember seeing it awhile back.
