Yes I know they sell racks labeled Breeder racks but a 5 slot 32 quart is $275 while a 5 slot breeder unit is $475 so if the 32 quarts can get the job done why fork out the extra 200

They can get the job done, there' snot room for a water dish, or a very small one, but it can get the job done. The snakes would be in close quarters with no room to get away from each other so that might force a mating. (btw: in the wild, they are in tighter spaces than the 32 quart would provide.)

in the breeder racks, there is room for them to be at each end or on each side if they don't appeal to each other.

I see something that you don't see....how soon before you acquire your next ball? 5 drawers...gotta fill them with something. Laughing Laughing 4 females ONE male 4:1 is a good ratio.

My breeders are housed in 32 qt cages and I also breed pairs in them in as well. I've got some big girls too, over 4,000 grams. Wink

Oh yea def. more balls in the future! But my snake I have now is actually an unknown, I want to get that sexed, hopefully comes out female, then get a male morph and one more normal female. First time so I want to take it easy.

Ok if there is only room for a small water bowl is that ok for the snake?

That's GOOD to know. Now I don't feel impelled to buy any more breeder racks...they are actually clumbsy and take a lot of room. I do like the Beanfarm cages, they are light enough for me to move without strain and dark enough inside for the snakes to feel secure, so I can watch the action!

Yea right now space is tight everywhere in my house so my mom had to give me some limitations on the size of caging.

I have an email into Jason's Jungle for a 5 Slot 32 qt. rack, waiting to hear back for a quote on shipping and I forgot to ask him about a thermostat so I need to email him again. Hey Deb do you by any chance remember how much extra the thermostat was?? and you got it right from him didn't you?? thanks.
