Pictures of Lilly.

The money shot: caught the sunlight that passed through her cornea and onto her scales behind her eye, and the tongue flick. Note the blue on top, red underneath:

Don't have a clue who this whack job is who thinks you can handle green tree pythons without being bitten:

Same camera, but Mrs. 99 figured out how to deal with its finicky ways about a week ago, and I was able to replicate her success.

Good advertisement for snake keeping! It reassures people that "normal" people have snakes too! Laughing

Really good photographs...framing quality!

breath taking photos! they almost look fake the images are so crystal clear... nice camera work!

are you using a special lens with a macro setting or is that just optical zoom?

Thanks!

Macro setting on a point-and-click digital camera, the Nikon CoolPix L12(?), which is 7.2 megapixels. I take the pictures from about 2' away, use a slight zoom, and include more of the snake than I want to show. Then I crop the pics and scrap most of each original photo to get the composition I want.
