King and a corn. Brooksi actually. Big female. Never found out what happened...
You wouldn't believe the corns I get sometimes. I wonder if people just don't care for them at all... Have one right now with absolutely no tail. Had one so bad off, that it died a couple of days later. Scars, rat bites, you name it...

It would be educational and a big assist to the reptile world if you could possibly find the time occassionally to post pictures of your bad off snakes/ reptiles with descriptions of the snake's condition and how you obtained it?
Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.

not trying to thread hijack
ive seen a poor adult corn in a pet store that was FAT, someone was feeding it small/medium rats i guess trying to get it bigger for breeding or maybe just to have a big snake but this poor thing had to be in serious trouble. im not even sure how it could use the bathroom without injuring itself...

Yea it is amazing that people can treat animals that dont need a lot of care so poorly it makes you angry. like the tank of ball pythons I found in a pet store that were so thin and one had such a dry shed I mistook it as shedded skin, not to mention the guinea pigs and rabbits all on the floor in plastic cages with parrots and parakeets above them in wired cages. It makes you angry.
Not meaning to hijack the thread as well.

Well, my wife and I are in early negotiations for buying a pet store that is really being run down. Not entirely the owner's fault, they are both getting older, and he has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer, she has fiber myosis(sp). I'm heading up there tomorrow to check out the store, he's having a hard time keeping the doors open alot, the animals are starting to look bad, etc. My folks have been helping him out a bit. Hoping it works out that we can buy the store, it'll be good not to "work for the man" anymore.
As for pictures, sure I can post pics of some of my rescues. Only have three right now, only one is injured, the corn without the tail. It's healed over quite a bit, looks pretty good now.
I'll post some pics when I get back in town next week.
The brooksi I took in a while back had so many rat bites, it couldn't shed properly. You had to take tweezers to the skin around the bites. As you can imagine, she didn't like that too much.

I hope it works out as well for you, I had a friend of my mother's who had a pet store and they were baby sitting someone's burmese python and it got out one morning when my mom was going into work and omg did she have a scare, but yea I hope you turn it around and get it going good again.
