whats the longest you have had your bp not eat. my male 50% het pied has not eaten in about 5 weeks

Mine hasn't eaten for a few weeks! I threw a rat in last night with him and he was in his hide as soon as I threw the rat in and closed the door I threw a towel over the cage to block the light. I also made sure he was awake first as soon as I covered up the cage he came out and was hunting but the stupid rat went into his other hide. Thats when I made the mistake of intervening and I scared him back into his hide I should have just let things be I guess. Oh well at least I know he's not sick and he has actually gotten his appetite back which makes me feel a whole lot better. I would try feeding in his enclosure and throwing a towel over the tank they will feel more secure just my thoughts though.....
