There are too many types of herps for me to only keep and admire snakes, so here's a crested gecko of mine.

haha Ron how could you not know that!!!!
the wife works for Geico so first thing i did was try to find out what kind of gecko it was when i was thinking about getting one for her.
and you call yourself a herper!

I was reading Reptiles magazine once and saw a Day gecko and thought, hey that looks like the Geico gecko! Since then I've just kind of assumed that's what he was.
Can you get those as pets?

I don't know how I'd feel about putting a talking gecko in a cage though. Do they come with other accents?

nope just the same old annoying one the one on TV has.... i liked the old one but GEICO decided to change it to a younger sounding one to reach a younger crowd

What are gecko's behaviours like? They look like jumpers. I imagine them as crazy speedy rascals that will jump off your hand and dart into a duct, never to be seen again.
