recessive morphs bred together will produce double hets that look Normal....
If you breed the double hets together there is 1 in 16 chance of producing the double morph.

This is good! Just what I was looking for. What I want to know is how people started making these with just normal balls?

Apparently, The Powers That Be decided to mix things up and provide us with a few surprises (just when we think we know everything, we get blindsided). Thus, many wild animals may have an aberrant gene. Accidentally, or on purpose these with similar genes have met and mated in the wild thus we do have Albinos in the wild (how long they survive is anyone's guess). Man has further explored the possibilities and so we have more colors now..
I usually compare snakes to a box of crayons: When you have the basic colors, you can mix and make other colors.

Hey Deb, from reading this I saw that in order to create a Cinnabee all you need is a Spider and a Cinnamon. Does it matter which is male and which is female? And do they have to be Het for anything? I'm trying to clarify if its just simply a Spider and a Cinnamon that will produce a Cinnabee. (Check the Spider Morphs section)

all you need is a cinny and a spider. the cinny is a codom morph and the spider is a dom morph so when you put a cinny to a spider you will get
25% cinnabee
25% cinny
25% spider
25% Normal

Ok thanks Nick...What about the Honey Bee? All you need is a Orange Ghost and a Spider right???

nope the ghost part is a recessive and thats where you get hets
to make a honey bee you need a spider het for ghost to a het ghost or ghost
example
Spider X Ghost
50% spider het ghost
50% het ghost
now breed the spider het ghost son to the ghost mom and you get
Spider het ghost X Ghost
honeybees
ghosts
spiders het ghost
normals het ghost

Ohhh, the genetics thing is getting more clear to me now. I really need to invest in one of those books that break down the genetics. So I can have a clear understanding. Thank you Nick!

I don't want to hijack this thread so if you'd create another thread on this topic, I'll post some photos.
Thanks
