Try again in another two weeks, but this time try a mouse. If she takes the mouse then chase it with a small rat. Worked for me.

Hey everyone just an update on my female Betsy. I offered her a med rat today and she didn't eat again. She did stiffin up when she saw the rat and went up to it to smell it but turned away after smelling. This is the 9th meal she has missed. Is this normal behavior? I'm a little worried being that this is the 9th meal she has missed. Temps have been at 88-91 on hot side and 78-83 on cool side.

Nick? Did you suggest putting a male in with the female (or vice-versa)? Do you want to clarify this? This is a new trick to entice a BP to eat that I haven't heard of.

Magana suggested a mouse. I am sorry to learn that your attempt failed.
Given that the snake is over 1 year old, it is very possible that she's in breeding cycle...she would have been pounding rats earlier and then laying off them as the cycle progressed.
