We use the MyWeigh brand of scale (300 series) but what's important regardless of what brand you buy is the capability of it showing weight in grams (along with pounds) since grams is the reptile industry standard in weight. I think we bought our scale on eBay.

I was looking at the specifications for that scale and it said the max is 300g. Would that be a good scale being that ball pythons grow alot heavier than 300g???

The scales we use for weighing snakes often exceed the maximum weight-limit of the scales they offer.

I bought mine at Wal-Mart! It goes up to 11 pounds..... and can be switched to grams. Way more than enough for $30

Thanks for the correct link. I was looking at the 3001p model and it states that the max is 3000 grams. Do ball pythons grow heavier than 3000 grams??? Thanks again.

You may want to try Wal-Mart (see Number 2's post above) for a scale. An 11 lb. scale will handle any ball python you place on it.
I physically checked the scale we use and it's not the 3000 model, it's the 8000 model (8 lbs. max-weight I believe).
