Your 100% right. I was trying to make a note on the fact that just because they use something else such as Silvadene doesn't mean they can't get an allergic reaction from it. In other words, Silvadene or many other antibiotic ointments could have just as much of a negative effect as compared to neosporin.

Ahh...point taken and you are right.
p.s the anointment prescribed for my snakes was 1% Silver Sulfadiazine cream. Is this what you mean by Silvadene?
