Can someone explain how to power feed a snake? Do you do that just to the young ones or can you do it with an oder one? What are the good/bad things about this?

It's bad, it's unhealthy, and it shortens the lifespan of the snake.

The amount of time between feeding is good, but I cant remember how big my balls were when they were that size. Just as long as its the same size as the snakes girth at the largest point, you should be fine. Very Happy
Hope this helped!

You have already admitted that you lie. Why should I believe anything you say now? Laughing

Your statement is very believable as I too feed them larger than their girth prey items. I feed comparable animals small to weaned rats w/ no problem. I rarely get a regurge but it can happen.

Check out the following link http://www.rcreptiles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=140&highlight=albino and you'll see how BIG the prey item is compared to the snake. The head on the rodent is larger than the snakes! Mr. Green

I could probably move Peanut up to a bigger mouse but I just keep him at the small mouse and feed 3-4 a week. He does not seem to have a problem with it and is doing fine. Maybe in a couple of months I will "graduate" him. I might even try the f/t idea.
