It really does make you wonder. It seems people just walk into a shop, ask for a snake get sold a package then basically leave it there.. no books no research no nothing!!!

I have a baby ball python, he escaped from the cage and I found him today. He was out for about 4 days, I found him curled up in a ball and not moving. I put him in my bath tub with a little bit of water, he opened his mouth and allowed me to drip water in. We put a heat lamp on him to warm him up. We tried to feed him a baby hampster, but he refused to eat it both alive or dead. It was about a half hour before he began to willing move on his own. He also kept opening his mouth as if he was yawning. We put him in a more secured cage with our other 2 ball pythons. He is moving around now and seeming active and happy, but I am scared because of the way that he way acting when I found him. ... help?
